Our team bought your plugin Amelia in order to manage events for a customer. Everything is fine but we wanted to create a page per events that will display the shortcode associated to the event and others informations.
In order to improve our customer experience we'd like to trigger an action on "event creation" and add a new page dedicated to it, but we need to detect event creation for that.
Is there a hook to trigger we can use on event creation or edition to help us ?
I'm afraid that we didn't quite get what you want to achieve exactly? Can you explain to us in a little more detail, and send us a couple of screenshots?
We'd like to automatically generate an "event page" when an event is created in Amelia Plugin. Like the one I attached to my reply (screen 1). With an event title, images, description with a lot of details, possibility to share the event page on socials, and display the Amelia event widget linked to this event on the page.
We know the plugin actually displays events details in a popup (screen 2). So we wanted to ask if you know a way, with a Wordpress hook for example, to help us catch when an Amelia administrator create or edit an event in order to generate or refresh a dedicated page for this event.
Or an existing way to automatically create an "event page" when an event is created.
Unfortunately, currently, this feature is not built-in in Amelia. This is not possible to achieve Amelia is built to work in a WordPress environment so Amelia itself can not generate a page. You need to create a page in that case for each event and you can show only that one event on the events page using our shortcodes like this for example
[ameliaevents event=1] if you want to show only the event with ID 1 without its recurring events,
Once yo show only one event on a page the description for that event should show automatically. This is the only way you can achieve what you need at this time.
Hope this helps.
Should you have any further inquiries, we kindly request that you open separate tickets for each question and we will gladly help you there.
This is what I tried to say. I know Amelia itself cannot create a page, but i'd like to catch an action when an admin user click on "Create event" or "Edit event" so we could say to Wordpress with a specific development "Hey WP, an event has been added / edited in Amelia, create me a page for it with the shortcode [ameliaevents event={amelia_event_id}] inside please ! :)".
How can I catch this event creation / edition ? Is there a way to trigger my custom code when an admin create or edit event ?
Unfortunately, currently, this feature is not built-in in Amelia. You must create a page for events and set the shortcode for events on that page. Once you place the shortcode on a page that you have created each event that you create will then show automatically on that page where you have placed our shortcodes. You can read more about our shortcodes in this article

I was looking for the same thing as Sébastien for the same reasons! How to create pages/posts for every event to be able to share and promote them on different social platforms. And it great for SEO too, having there own page!
As Events Calendar, an event plugin for wp does the same, using Custom Post Types. Isn't there a clever way to create something, a code as Sébastien suggest? There must be a simple way to do this? Al ingredients are there :)
This is possible with products that are SaaS. We have another product called Trafft that is a SaaS and it is also designed for booking and with it you can generate and send the links for desired service. With Amelia you must create a page in WordPress and then place Amelia shortcode on that page since Amelia can only work in WordPress environment.
Could you please help me understand how this different from for instance lifterlms which also works with shortcodes though does make a page when creating a course or lesson? (It's an lms system instead of booking though same idea reagarding wordpress and shortcodes).
