Our customers are experiencing an issue inside the Customer Dashboard where if they're booking the next slot of their package, and if they've selected a specific employee and check the available slots. The system works as expected by displaying the available slots of that specific employee. However, if the customer goes back and try to select another date, the date picker will forget which employee was initially selected, and would display cumulative available slots of all the employees that are part of the package, which becomes misleading. I've attached a video demonstrating the same. Please let us know how can we fix this.

    Hello again,

We can not replicate this type of issue you can see that in our video that we are sending you https://we.tl/t-WPLjdJZQOU. The most likely issue is with this user that you are using.

Can you please check in WordPress users if you have several roles added to this user? For example admin and employee or employee and customer. etc. Or if this user has the same mail as other user for example admin/manager and employee or employee and customer. etc.

If this is the case then you should know you can not be Admin and manager to admin and employee, etc at the same time since this leads to conflict within the plugin. You need to have only one role per user only admin or only manager or only employee. Every role has different permission and if you combine them Amelia can not function properly.

You need to disconnect other roles from that user and that mail and to create a separate user with separate mail for each role and make sure to purge the cache afterward.

After that Amelia should work properly again. Please do that and let us know how it goes.

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Hi Marko,

We noticed that the customer had the WooCommerce Customer role as well as Amelia Customer role. Although our Amelia Employees only have Amelia Employees role. But despite keeping customer's WP role as just Amelia Customer and purging the cache, we noticed no change in the behaviour of the date picker. After 15-20 seconds, it refreshes itself and then the cumulative availability of the package employees becomes visible. And our actual customers are sharing screen recordings where the exact same thing is happening. It's causing a lot of confusion for our customers.

Also, could you please re-record an example where you make the availability of one employee only on Sunday and the 2nd employee only on Monday? And just stay on the date picker for 15-20 seconds. If you selected Employee #1, Monday and other days of the week should remain greyed out after 15-20 seconds. We're actively trying to figure out why is this happening ourselves but the recordings from your end can narrow down the possible culprits.

    Thanks

    Hello again,

Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.

We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.

You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.

Also, send us the names of users that are experiencing this issue.

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Hello again,

You are using the old version of Amelia 6.7

    6738717850.png

We now have a new version of Amelia. When the plugin is not up to date it can have all sorts of issues you need to update to the latest version of the plugin so that we can try to help you.

When it comes to the old version of the plugin, we can not know exactly what the issue is because it is already an outdated version that is not maintained.

Please update to the latest version and let us know has that resolved the issue.

You can download Amelia from your profile in our store

We are sending you a short instruction on how to update Amelia to the latest version.

Go to Amelia Settings/Activation, and make sure that the "Delete Amelia content" slider is disabled.

Then, go to your Plugins section and deactivate the plugin. If you're using WordPress 5.8+, you'll be able to go to the Plugins section/Add New, and upload the file you previously downloaded.

When you upload the file, WordPress will inform you that you're replacing the plugin with the new version, so just confirm that. After the plugin is installed, activate it, and make sure to purge all cache from your website.

    Hope this helps.
