We have a website with an event booking system used to have people make reservation for fitness classes. Now we will have two locations, and as far as I see, there is no shortcode to make Event list for booking for one location using for example
[ameliaevents type='list' locationId=1]
[ameliaevents type='list' locationId=2]
We wanted to separate these lists to make this clear for customers which location they are going to book.
I know that there is a filter above the list, but that is not exactly what we want. We want to prepare separate subpages for two locations. And I do not want to use Tags for that, because we use tags to have categories of Events.
I saw that location is possible for [ameliabooking] shortcode but not for [ameliaevents]. Why is that? Is it possible to have such feature?
Unfortunately, there is currently no such option with Amelia's built-in features. Currently, you can only assign different locations to events, when a customer opens an event list, he can filter those events by location.
We are looking forward to a complete redesign of the Event feature, please feel free to search through our feature suggestion page, to see if someone may have already suggested this feature. If you can't see it, feel free to add your suggestion there, and as more people vote, the feature will move higher on the priority list.
You can certainly follow our changeLog page if you'd like, where we state any changes/new features/bug fixes during updates and our newsletter, so you're informed about new features, bug fixes, freebies, etc.
If you have any other questions, please let us know.
