Hi, is there a way to update the plugin from a Wordpress dashboard, like any other plugin, or should I always download the new versione from your site, upload as a new plugin?
Hi, on my staging website the update is showed on the plugins page, while on my production website it is not shown. I tried as shown in the article to update from the Dashboard: there I see the update option but when I try to update, but it replies it cannot because the plugin is not activated (see the Italian error message): "C'è stato un errore durante l'aggiornamento di Amelia: Per ricevere gli aggiornamenti automatici è necessaria l'attivazione della licenza. Visita impostazioni per attivare Amelia."
Thank you for the update on this and for your patience..
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.
Richard, thank you very much for your assistance on this matter.

Hello Paolo,
Which site has the activation code applied in the settings? Your staging site or your production site?
By your description I'm assuming it's your staging site.
Have you tried updating on the staging site already?
The staging site updated correctly.
Ho do I know where I have applied the activation code? The production site results activated…
You can check in two places: 1st on the plugin's website:
And your production site amelia settings should look like this:
It seems correct on both views: how can I solve my problem?
Se the attached Screenshots

If you only have the one license,
Deactivate on both sites, and only activate on the production site.
You will have to manually update the staging site in the future, or at the very least, push production to staging to keep it current.
