I am sorry, but i did not fully understand all the details/steps how to reproduce the issue, and how the issue manifests.

I realise that you are reproducing this on our Sandbox Table named 'Very Large Table' from this Page https://sandbox.wpdatatables.com/large-table-demo/

But i am not sure which steps to take and what should we focus on to isolate this issue?

You said that we should pick some values in the Checkbox, and then the "Reset" Button does not do what is expected, but i can't seem to isolate what it is exactly.

Can you please elaborate a bit more what you mean by, when resetting the CheckBox for a while, it gets affected by past input?

Do you mean perhaps the values in the Table are not being returned as expected, or something becomes wrong with the available values in the CheckBox?

The best will be if you can add a Video of your Screen to show us what you mean in more details.

If the Video gets too large for the ticket, you can upload it to weTransfer and send me a download link.

I tried a lot of times, and to pick various filter values in that CheckBox, but i am not able to reproduce what you have shown in your video.

I realise the issue happened when you recorded it - but we are not able to reproduce it on any of our Tables, or Test Sites.

You can download my Video to see the last couple of minutes where we tried to reproduce the same steps as on your Video, and can not reproduce it.

Can you please try to clear cache and cookies from your current Browser, then try to reproduce this issue again on our Sandbox Table, let me know if you can repeat the issue?

If you can - could you please record it again, and if you can confirm which device you used - 

and which browser/ browser version, as well as the Operating System.
