We did not see this issue before, so far all our other Users and our QA Team did not notice any issue with latest WP Version 6.4.1 and installing our Plugin.

Can you please show us more details how are you trying to install it?

1. Did you try through the WordPress dashboard, to update your existing wpDataTables Premium installation, if you have an old version, to 5.8.2 wpDataTables?

2. Or did you perhaps somehow try to install the Lite/Free wpDataTables version?

I would say best is to first check if you do not have somehow the Lite wpDataTables installed on your WordPress at the moment , and go from there.

Please check, If you don't see the Activation Tab in the main plugin settings, it means that you have the Lite plugin version installed.

Please follow the steps explained here, 

it is a step-by-step explanation of how you can safely remove the Lite version and install + activate the Full version.

If you can't manage to upload the Premium Plugin installation through the WP Dashboard, you can manually install it via FTP / or your Hosting File Manager.

Please check the Manual Steps explained in this Guide how you can extract the wpDataTables 5.8.2 folder directly to your Hosting WordPress Plugins folder and you can install it that way.

along with WP-admin (Administrator) user, 

FTP credentials ,

 and the database access ( URL with credentials for PHPMyAdmin or access to Hosting Panel), so our developers can debug the plugin, and see what's going on?
