My health consulting website with Amelia set up for booking appointments is based in India. I also have international clients. While we were able to get PayPal or Woo Commerce to work well for processing international payments in the default $ currency, it does not work for Indian payments as Razorpay has stopped onboarding new customers and we cannot use it,
Would it be possible to implement CCAvenue as another payment processor for your Indian user base? There is no solution currently for me to accept payments from India.
Also when is the dual currency option going to be implemented? I have seen other tickets raised about this, and we were promised that it will be coming soon. As it is currently, with my two different pricing tiers for India vs outside India, Indians are being charged the local amount in $, and we cannot set it to Indian rupees. Please go through my website to see our current setup.
Without a solution to these two lacking features, we may need to abandon use of Amelia entirely as it does not enable us to accept payments from Indian customers.
In regards to the CCAvenue implementation, please feel free to search through our feature suggestion page, to see if someone may have already suggested this feature. If you can't see it, feel free to add your suggestion there, and as more people vote, the feature will move higher on the priority list.
You can certainly follow our changeLog page if you'd like, where we state any changes/new features/bug fixes during updates and our newsletter, so you're informed about new features, bug fixes, freebies, etc.
In regards to the multi-currency option, Amelia doesn't have multi-currency, but if you have enabled WooCommerce and WooCommerce's multi-currency extensions should work.
Amelia is designed to work with WooCommerce, not its add-ons, so integration with this (or any other extension) is not confirmed, and we can't guarantee that it will work, but we leave space for clients to check in with them as well - because perhaps WooCommerce finds a way to overcome this for plugins like ours. Our developers have multi-currency planned for the future, but at the moment it's not available.
