We have integrated Woocommerce as a payment method for bookings. The payment method we use is a local payment method here in Portugal. When the order is paid for, the order status is automatically updated by webservice. The order changes from "Awaiting payment" to "In process", but Amelia do not change the appointment status to "Approved".
But if I change the order status manually, the status of the appointment is changed correctly.
I have attached a screenshot of the settings.
Do you have any idea how to solve this? Can I use any custom function to achieve this?
When a Woocommerce order changes to "Completed", the appointment changes to "Confirmed" but the "appointment confirmed" notification is not sent to the customer. But is marked as you see on the attached printscreen.
Other Amelia Notifications work but this one no. The woocommerce order status is changed by webservice when the payment is received.
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.
You are using WP mail and this is a third-party plugin so notifications go through them. Since this is not our product and it is a third-party plugin you would need to reach out to their support team so that they can take a closer look on their end and see why notifications are not sent.
I don't mean that you're trying to escape responsibility, but how do you explain that all emails are sent, except in this case.
I'll say it again. If you change the status of an order directly in the Woocommerce dashboard, the Amelia notification email is sent. So I don't think it's a PostSMTP issue at all, but rather something to do with the way the notification is triggered.
The Amelia plugin relies on a specific WooCommerce action hook or trigger ($order->update_status) to change the status of appointments and send email notifications. When the status is changed manually, the appointments change the status and email notifications are sent.
When the change is made automatically by the Webdados plugin, Amelia updates the status of the appointment but does not send the email notification.
Can you tell me if there's any difference in how these two actions are triggered? It is strange on is triggered and other no. Does notification trigger depends on Woocommerce order status or is it trigger by appointment status?
In addition to the fact that you use wp mail, which has nothing to do with us, everything goes through them, please provide us with some information about WebDados, what exactly is that. We looked on the net but could not find much information.
What we would like to mention is that we only have core integration with WooCommerce in the sense that you can use it to accept payments and that's it.
We do not have and do not guarantee any integration with WooCommerce addons or other plugins that can be used with WooCOmmerce. So you can use direct WooCommerce to accept payment for everything else that is not direct WooCommerce, we cannot guarantee that it will work with Amelia.
I know that you only provide integration with Woocommerce and that sometimes these plugin integration problems are complex and difficult to solve. So thank you in advance for all your attention.
But I don't think that's the cause off this problem. Because when the order is paid for and the status changes to completed, Amelia correctly changes the status of the bookings to confirmed.
What isn't happening is that Amélia changes the status of the booking but doesn't send the reminder as it should. But this appens just with this notification, all the others notifications are working fine.
From what I can see, it will be difficult to solve this problem and I'll have to find an alternative plugin, although I think Amelia is a good one.
We do not think that the issue is with Amelia but we are happy to take a look. The login that you provided is not for admin backend access.
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.

Thank you once again for your attention to this matter.
In the meantime, as you were unable to diagnose and resolve the problem, I installed the BookingPress plugin, and with this plugin there was no problem sending the notification alerts.
In terms of price and functionalities, BookingPress is very similar to your plugin. And I'd like to take this opportunity to say that the admin interface seems to be more intuitive and simpler than yours.
We'll stick with that for now. If for some reason BookingPress doesn't match what we need, I'll get back to you to try to solve the problem.
We genuinely appreciate and respect your decision, and we want you to know that our support remains avaliable. Should you ever reconsider, please remember that we are here for you, ready to assist in any way we can. Your well-being and success are of paramount importance to us, and we wish you nothing but the absolute best in all your endeavors.

Hello Raul,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
You have only the status for "Processing" on "Order Update". You need a new status for "Completed" and after that everything should be ok. Please read all about it on this link https://wpamelia.com/woocommerce-integration/#Connecting-statuses.
Kind regards.
Kind Regards,

By the way, I try with other SMTP plugin and the problem is the same.
