I came up with some Custom CSS which can help you reduce that Gap on your Table :
You can change the margin-bottom or the "bottom" value for each Element to change/move them around until you get the best design you wish for your use-case.
If you want this style only for one Table, add it to this Table's Customize/Custom CSS;
Or if you want the same style for all tables, add it in the Main Plugin settings/Custom JS and CSS/Custom CSS.

When I add filters at the top in wpDataTable, there is a gap between the table and the filters. How can I remove that?
