Hey there, Awesome Customers!

Just a heads up: We'll be taking a breather to celebrate International Workers' Day (May 1st and 2nd - Wednesday and Thursday) and Orthodox Easter from Good Friday (May 3rd) through Easter Monday (May 6th). So, from May 1st to May 6th, our team will be off enjoying some well-deserved downtime.

During this time, our customer support will be running on a smaller crew, but don't worry! We'll still be around to help with any urgent matters, though it might take us a bit longer than usual to get back to you.

We'll be back in action at full throttle on May 7th (Tuesday), ready to tackle your questions and requests with gusto!

In the meantime, you can explore our documentation for Amelia and wpDataTables. You'll find loads of helpful resources, including articles and handy video tutorials on YouTube (Amelia's YouTube Channel and wpDataTables' YouTube Channel). These gems might just have the answers you're looking for while we're kicking back.

Thanks a bunch for your understanding and support!

Catch you on the flip side!

Warm regards,

TMS

A question before purchasing the wpdatatable plugin.

It is possible to activate the edit in line and popover options at the same time

In the test, when I activate one option, the other is deactivated.

I would like to know if it is possible to activate both options at the same time to be able to edit from the button at the top or directly from the registry with the popover option

  • Jose Nunez replied

Good morning, please waiting for a response to know if it is possible to have both active options.

The problem is that when there are several records the button option overflows at the top and the buttons can no longer be selected.

That's why I want to be able to activate the option to edit with popover but also keep the buttons (new, edit, etc.) at the top of the header.

    Hi Jose,

Firstly, I would like to sincerely apologize for the delayed response as we have been experiencing an unusually high number of tickets. I am sorry that it has taken longer than usual to respond to your concern and your patience is highly appreciated.

    1. If you activate "in line Editing" , and also enable the "PopOver editing", they do work without any issue, as far as we see from our testing.

I am sending you a Video in attachment where you can see it works, i can edit some cell inline, but i can also click later into it, and the PopOver Buttons to Edit come up above the cell, so i can still have the Editing Modal if needed.

    2. Or if you leave "in line Edit' but just disable the "Pop over" then you can see the buttons above the Table again for Editing.

    3. The only thing that's not possible is if you activate " pop over Editing" then the "new/ edit/delete row" buttons appear straight above the cell you select, so the Editing Buttons can not also be above the Table.

Let me know if that helps.
