When grouping a datatable by row, that grouped column does not show when exporting the data, which renders the export useless for my case as the name is not shown.
To begin, I want to extend my heartfelt apologies for the delayed reply,
which is due to an unexpectedly high volume of inquiries.
We truly value your patience during this period.

You are right, I am sorry to disappoint you, but that is one of the current limitations coming from the 3rd Party HTML5 Library which our Export Tools are based on.
Unfortunately, that library allows very little “fine-tuning” of the generated files.
This is the limitation which is important for your use-case, so i will just point that one here ( you can check the other limitations on the hyperlinked Documentation) :
If you have row grouping enabled for the table, or there are some customizations you did yourself, they won’t be reflected in the generated Excel, CSV, or PDF document, nor in the clipboard.
At the moment, we do not have any way to change that, but you can make an improvement suggestion and our devs will do their best.
to see if someone may be already suggested this feature. If you can't see it, feel free to add your suggestion there, and as more people vote, the feature will move higher on the priority list.
You can certainly follow our changeLog page if you'd like ( it is also available in the plugin dashboard), where we state any changes/new features/bug fixes during updates;
and our newsletter, so you're informed about new features, bug fixes, freebies, etc.
