The main issue is, we cant change the booking status from the front-end. There are some cases where those options appear. I dont know exactly what causes it. there was a time when I added a new appointment, the approve and cancel button were missing for the new one. but it suddenly appeared on the old pending appointment.
Yes. it doesnt matter which site cause Im having the same issue with all my test sites.
Our main concern is the booking status update on employee panel. where employees could not update an appointment booking status booked on the same day. hope it makes sense.
I sent you a clean site without plugins that may cause an issue. and I think it's easier to troubleshoot and do some tests on a clean site.
please book an appointment, select the date today, and see if you can change the booking status from the front end panel. then book an appointment on a future date. compare the 2. and you'll see what I mean.

Can you please check if the "Manage their appointments" option is enabled on the Amelia/Settings/Roles/Employee.
