I set up some custom fields and added them to different services. The services are also part of packages.
But the fields only appear in the package booking when I activate them for all services in the field's setting. As soon I delete one of the services from the list the field is not shown anymore in the package booking form.
As custom fields are connected to the appointments, they will only be displayed if some appointment is being booked. Meaning, if a customer purchases a package with the option to book appointments right away, they will have the custom fields displayed, if no appointment is booked as part of the package, no custom fields will be displayed.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Yes, you need to tell the customer "For technical reason please book a first appointment. You can reschedule/delete it later." only to make the custom fields appear.
That does not look professional at all.
The packages appear to be a very minimalistic function. The various options and setting you have with appointments are not available in packages. So you need to set up heaps of workarounds.
The packages were the reason for booking Amelia in the first place, but this more and more turns out to be a mistake?
Thank you very much for your feedback and suggestions. We will have this passed to our developers to possibly implement in the future.
We value our user's feedback as we continuously work on improving our product and making sure that Amelia fits as many people as it can.
At the moment, tit works like this, the custom fields will only be displayed if the appointment is booked as part of a package as the custom fields are connected to the appointments rather than packages.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks for your reply.
If the developers can just add the feature when booking a package without appointments that would be such a huge update for my usage.
Thanks a lot!
