    Hi there,

would it be possible to have maximum of a "number-range-slider" filter fixed (and not visible for the user)?

I think I have a very common application in mind. Just an easy example:

I have a products in the rows (let's assume e.g. computers as an example). One column is the memory. The individual computers have different memory sizes as integer values (e.g. one has 100 GB, another one has 50 GB, and another one has 80 GB).

The user needs to filter which computers are capable to run a certain computer game. In this application a computer can never have too much memory. So, if the user inserts "my game needs 60 GB", the the computers with 80 GB and 100 GB shall be visible but the 50 GB computer shall be filtered out.

With the current range (slider) the user may enter a minimum of 59 GB and a maximum of 61 GB (to find his 60 GB). That, however, would filter all computer out. Which is not the intention.

I have a different application but filtering for the maximum does absolutely make no sense in my application (it is just the more the better) and would in fact confuse the users.

    That would be very helpful

    Kind regards,

    Frédéric

    Hi Frédéric,

To begin, I want to extend my heartfelt apologies for the delayed reply,

which is due to an unexpectedly high volume of inquiries.

We truly value your patience during this period.

At this time, we don't have any built-in solution to achieve this, but you can suggest it to our developers - they will do their best to make a solution in the future.

Please feel free to search on our suggestions page

to see if someone may be already suggested this feature. If you can't see it, feel free to add your suggestion there,  and as more people vote, the feature will move higher on the priority list.

    You can certainly follow our changeLog page if you'd like ( it is also available in the plugin dashboard), where we state any changes/new features/bug fixes during updates;

and our newsletter, so you're informed about new features, bug fixes, freebies, etc.

If you have coding skills and wish to try to make a custom solution now,

you can check out our available hooks for Developers on this documentation and see if you can find any hook that might help.

Please be advised that custom solutions with hooks are not included in our support.

You can also research resources such as Stack Overflow to see if any other user perhaps found a workaround.

( We do like to give examples for certain solutions, but for this use-case, we, unfortunately, don't have anything yet)

    Kind Regards,
