We've setup the booking proces with payments through mollie. However when a customer books a spot for an event, but doesn't pay the ticket. The customer still gets registered in the back-end of the plug-in and this way reserves a spot for the event. How can we prevent this, that unpaid tickets get deleted after X time, or do not get registered at all in the back-end.
Please find attached a screenshot. I've tried to book a slot... but did not went through with the payment. Still 2 slots (2 person booking) will be claimed within the event even though they only should be claimed when somebody has paid the amount that we set for the event.
How can we exclude this option, so spots only get claimed when somebody has paid.
Unfortunately, there is currently no such option with Amelia's built-in features. You can suggest that feature on the following link: https://features.wpamelia.com/
We carefully follow suggestions from our customers and the more vote the feature gets, the more priority we put on implementing that feature in one of the future updates.
My apologies for the late reply. I find it quite odd this isn't a standard feature in the plugin. As cancelations or failed bookings are always to be expected and should never take up a spot that way. This is in my opinion a baseline function. Because of this we're now running into issues with the plugin. So I do hope if you could ask your development team, if there is a short term fix for this. Before the actual function will be implemented in the future.
At the moment, there is no workaround to set this up with our plugin.
Please feel free to search through our feature suggestion page, to see if someone may be already suggested this feature. If you can't see it, feel free to add your suggestion there, and as more people vote, the feature will move higher on the priority list.
You can certainly follow our changeLog page if you'd like, where we state any changes/new features/bug fixes during updates;
and our newsletter, so you're informed about new features, bug fixes, freebies, etc.
