I want to use this feature for an ongoing project where candidates will book job slots according to availability and their wishes. My main concern with the last plugin that I used was i can't assign 2 services on the same day at the same time it overlaps for some reason. Is that possible in Amelia if yes How
In Amelia, availability is based on the employee's work hours and service duration. If service duration is 1h, for example, and the employee work hours are set to a lower amount than 1h, then the time slots will not be available since there is no one to "cover" the service. In the same time, if the service duration is 1h and the employee work hours are set to 09 - 17, for example, then the timeslot will be displayed in increments of 1h like 09 - 10, 10 - 11, 11 - 12 etc.
If you assign the same employee to two or more services then the availability will be "shared" meaning that if you book a timeslot for service 1, then the same timeslot will not be available for service 2, since the employee is already working on the service 1.
To make this possible, you can make two different employees and assign each employee to each service. Since each service has it own separate settings, it is easy to control them separately, meaning that, when a customer books an appointment for Service 1, he gets to reserve an appointment for the employee assigned to Service 1, whereas service 2 and the employee are free (separated)
Please, take a look at our documentation regarding the services duration and employees to get more information.
You also try our demo and you can buy our license and try Amelia out.
We offer a 15-day money-back guarantee, and in that period of time, you test everything and see if Amelia fits your needs.
I hope it helps. Please, let us know if you have any other questions.
