We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hello, I have been using Amelia for a while on Event Bookings and recently also started using it for Appointments. We offer private walking tours.
The appointment bookings are initially set to pending since I need to find a guide. Now we would like to charge a downpayment to secure the booking and also get the company's commission. That would be super useful.
My question is, if it's possible to first approve the appointment manually and then send the deposit payment link in the "Appointment Approved" notification.
The reason I would need that function is that when someone makes a booking and I can't find a guide (which happens often), I would have to refund.
It would be great, if we could go: appointment pending - appointment approved (after I find a guide) - downpayment link in the appointment approved email - I manually check the payment a week after approval
Hello Gerhard,
Thanks for reaching out to us. That's a great idea, but, unfortunately, sorry to disappoint you, currently, it's not possible to send the deposit link via payment link, as you would do with other payment methods like PayPal, Stripe etc.
The way to set up the payment link is to put the placeholder for the corresponding payment method in the notification template, but currently, there are only placeholders for payment methods PayPal, Mollie, Stripe etc.
Please feel free to search through our feature suggestion page, to see if someone may have already suggested this feature. If you can't see it, feel free to add your suggestion there, and as more people vote, the feature will move higher on the priority list.
You can certainly follow our changeLog page if you'd like, where we state any changes/new features/bug fixes during updates and our newsletter, so you're informed about new features, bug fixes, freebies, etc.
If you have other questions, feel free to ask.
Kind Regards,
Stefan Petrov
