Hey there, Awesome Customers!

Just a heads up: We'll be taking a breather to celebrate International Workers' Day (May 1st and 2nd - Wednesday and Thursday) and Orthodox Easter from Good Friday (May 3rd) through Easter Monday (May 6th). So, from May 1st to May 6th, our team will be off enjoying some well-deserved downtime.

During this time, our customer support will be running on a smaller crew, but don't worry! We'll still be around to help with any urgent matters, though it might take us a bit longer than usual to get back to you.

We'll be back in action at full throttle on May 7th (Tuesday), ready to tackle your questions and requests with gusto!

In the meantime, you can explore our documentation for Amelia and wpDataTables. You'll find loads of helpful resources, including articles and handy video tutorials on YouTube (Amelia's YouTube Channel and wpDataTables' YouTube Channel). These gems might just have the answers you're looking for while we're kicking back.

Thanks a bunch for your understanding and support!

Catch you on the flip side!

Warm regards,

TMS

    Hi,

I am using Amelia for my yoga studio and we are setting up all our classes as recurring events. However, I need to give my users the possibility of canceling their events or rescheduling it to another event. This functionality is available with appointments, but I can't find it with events.

Is there anyway I could let my customers reschedule events or create a recurring group class with fixed time as an appointment?

    Thanks!

    Hello Gui,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Events are separate entities and customers can not reschedule event since events can not be rescheduled via custoemr as services only admin can do this. So they or you need to cancel the appearance of that attendee and then to book or add them to a new event.

If you are rising a services you can create fixed work hours for that service in employee work hours and you can enable recurring appointments for your users.

The availability of the service is defined by employees' working hours, so you would need to edit those in order to achieve this.

When you go to Amelia/Employees, and select that employee, go to the Work Hours tab. In there create several working periods. For example:

My employee would work on "Service 1" and "Service 2" from 08:00 - 10:30, on "Second" service from 10:30 - 15:30, and then again on "Service 1" and "Service 2" from 15:30 - 24:00.

You'd be adding these periods by clicking on the blue + sign next to the name of the day, in the top right.

You can read more about recurring appointments on this link https://wpamelia.com/recurring-appointments/.

Should you have any further inquiries, we kindly request that you open separate tickets for each question and we will gladly help you there.

We wish you all the best.

    Have a nice day.

    Kind Regards,
