For some reason my admin ui is really slow since the last update, takes up to 40 sec to react.
Turning off Amelia get's it working normally again, and after turning Amelia on again it works for a while and then slows down.
My guess is that it has to do with the W3 total cache plugin, but uninstalling that alone does not solve the problem, and purging cache does not either.
The caching plugin has been deactivated for a couple of hours and now the adminpanel is really slow again. It seems that it is something to do with your plugin.
Slow load is not related to Amelia since Amelia is not a SaaS or to W3 total cache since we re using it also.
The slow load can be caused by a lot of things - the number of appointments you have, the number of customers, the number of employees, etc.
As for the speed of Amelia itself, we cannot influence it because Amelia is not SaaS and the speed of your site and Amelia depends on the package you have with your hosting provider.
This is related to your package with your hosting provider because each page opens and loads for a very long time. Neither of these two issues is related to Amelia.
It could be caused by the amount of other data you have on the page.
Can you increase the php_memory_limit on your site?
If you're not sure how to do that, you can reach out to your hosting provider.
Please check out our demo sites (link) and see how the plugin should behave on a site with dedicated hosting and good server performance.
Should you have any further inquiries, we kindly request that you open separate tickets for each question and we will gladly help you there.
This is not related to the update as we mentioned slow load is not related to Amelia since Amelia is not a SaaS so you do not depend on our server only on your package with your hosting provider.
There is not much that we can do since as we mentioned Amelia is not SaaS so the speed depends on your hosting package.
We've had customers that used Amelia for Covid-19 vaccinations, and they worked with around 1.000 appointments per day. If you have a lot of data (services, employees, appointments, and most likely customers) combined, so if the form is not filtered (like [ameliabooking service=1] or something similar), the form loads all services and all employees.
If you're connected to Google and/or Outlook Calendar, those are checked for availability as well. Once the service is selected, the employees are drawn and their free time slots are displayed. So, there are a few calls that pull relevant data, but that shouldn't be causing a lot of issues.
Maybe you can try increasing the timeout limit as well. Also, try enabling the "Load Entities on page load" slider in Amelia Settings/Activation? That should avoid AJAX calls for fetching entities (services, employees, locations, packages, tags) and should increase the performance.
Page load is great, on the site itself, it's the wp admin panel that slows down with Amelia installed, and picks up speed again with Amelia deactivated.
I have almost no data in Amelia and that hasn't changed since before the update.
Also, I have discovered one other person in the public ticket domain that seem to have the same issue after the 6.7 update
I have upgraded my webhosting, and we'll see if that works, but I still don't want to "waste" more money than I need just because something might have happened between updates.
today I upgraded the webhosting to insane speed to see if it helped, but no, the issue persists. And I repeat: if I disable Amelia and enable it again, it works fine again, for the next hour or so, then the admin slows down again.
Please can you send us the staging where 6.7 will be installed and please roll back the main site to 6.6 for now. In addition to staging, we also need a database and FTP access so that we can try to debug, and if there is anything to debug, we will do our best.

I have not have any problems since the last update, and uninstalling Amelia makes the site run fast again, after install it slows down after a while.
The front end works fine still. I can check what you asked me, but it seems related to Amelia somehow.
sorry, no problems before the last update.
Also, the whole admin is slow, not only the Amelia interface
and also (sorry for the spam) I only have about 10 waiting clients so the load from Amelia should not be that large.

I hear you and am not an expert.
Page load is great, on the site itself, it's the wp admin panel that slows down with Amelia installed, and picks up speed again with Amelia deactivated.
I have almost no data in Amelia and that hasn't changed since before the update.
My webprovider has no answers either. Is there a way to reverse the last update and go back to an earlier version of Amelia just to see if that helps?
Here's an error that WP have found in the rest-API.
REST API-ändpunkt: https://arecoach.se/wp-json/wp/v2/types/post?context=edit
REST API-svar: (http_request_failed) cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 10000 milliseconds with 380 out of 2225 bytes received

I don't know how to rollback Amelia. WP Rollback does not find previous versions and I don't know where to download 6.6
Version 6.6 seems to have resolved the issue for now, the admin runs smoothly again.
I don't know if it's related, but the pop-up function in 6.7 does not seem to work in Divi, at least I couldn't get it to work.
Hello Jonas,
There should be no issues. You can try and follow our documentation form this link and see if this helps https://wpamelia.com/amelia-popup/.
We wish you all the best.
