You cannot book an appointment for 2 clients (for example 2 brothers) with the same email for the same service and for the same time.
It doesn't matter if you check the option in "role options" or not. If it is checked, the message is "Email already exists with different name. Please check your name" and if it is not, the message is "you have already booked this appointment".
A user is required to be able to make reservations for family members with the same email in case a second family member signs up for the activity at a time after the first member makes the reservation.
Let me explain how this works. In the Roles settings, in the Customer tab, you have the option calledĀ Check customer's name for existing email when booking. Enabling this option will not allow the existing customer to create an appointment with the same email but using a different first and last name.
If this option is disabled, a customer can book two appointments with the same email as long as they are different time slots. If the customer wants to book two appointments for the same time slot, with the same email, unfortunately, this is not possible. This is due to the fact that you are trying to book an already existing appointment.
