Hey there, Awesome Customers!

Just a heads up: We'll be taking a breather to celebrate International Workers' Day (May 1st and 2nd - Wednesday and Thursday) and Orthodox Easter from Good Friday (May 3rd) through Easter Monday (May 6th). So, from May 1st to May 6th, our team will be off enjoying some well-deserved downtime.

During this time, our customer support will be running on a smaller crew, but don't worry! We'll still be around to help with any urgent matters, though it might take us a bit longer than usual to get back to you.

We'll be back in action at full throttle on May 7th (Tuesday), ready to tackle your questions and requests with gusto!

In the meantime, you can explore our documentation for Amelia and wpDataTables. You'll find loads of helpful resources, including articles and handy video tutorials on YouTube (Amelia's YouTube Channel and wpDataTables' YouTube Channel). These gems might just have the answers you're looking for while we're kicking back.

Thanks a bunch for your understanding and support!

Catch you on the flip side!

Warm regards,

TMS

    Hi there,

    I am new to Amelia and am setting up the tool on my website.
    Two questions regarding payment methods:

    1. My customers do not pay by credit card or on site. I send them an invoice.
    But in the system, "pay on site" is predefined and can't be switched off. Is there a way to deactivate this function anyway? And: can the option "Pay with invoice" still be added?

    2 In Switzerland, the payment method TWINT is now extremely popular and appreciated: https://www.twint.ch/.
    Perhaps you will also check this payment option?

    And last but not least a design-related question Can the emoji at the end of the booking be removed?

    Many thanks for the answers.

    Sunny greetings,
    claudia

    Hello Atelier,

    Thanks for reaching out to us.

    Please, find the answers below

    Option "pay on-site" is predefined as default. This is because of the fact that there needs to be at least one way of payment method in order for Amelia to work properly. Unfortunately, currently, Amelia doesn't have an invoice payment method built in. We are working on implementing this feature in a future version, but there is no ETA at this moment.

    Currently, it's possible to set the invoice payment method with WooCoomerce. Please, find more information on this link - WooCoomerce Invoice

    2 In Switzerland, the payment method TWINT is now extremely popular and appreciated: https://www.twint.ch/.

    Currently, Amelia has integration with PayPal, Stripe, RazorPay, Mollie, and WooCoomerce. There is no official integration with Twint, but I've searched a bit, and seems like it can be incorporated with WooCommerce.

    We are not sure if it's going to work, since there is no official integration and we can provide support regarding this integration.

    Regarding the emoji part, my apologies, but can you point out to the emoji that is in question? Can you provide a screenshot?

    I hope I cleared a bit. Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Kind Regards,

    Stefan Petrov

    Hello Claudia,

    You are welcome. We understand the need for integration with other payment providers, but for now, we only have official integration with PayPal, Stripe, RazorPay, Mollie etc.

    Please feel free to search through our feature suggestion page, to see if someone may have already suggested this feature. If you can't see it, feel free to add your suggestion there, and as more people vote, the feature will move higher on the priority list.

    You can certainly follow our changeLog page if you'd like, where we state any changes/new features/bug fixes during updates and our newsletter, so you're informed about new features, bug fixes, freebies, etc.

    As for the emoji, there is no option that can be enabled/disabled, but it can be hidden with the custom CSS code. Below, you can find the custom CSS code

    .am-fs__congrats-main img {
        display: none!important;
    }

    Custom code needs to be applied to the page where the booking form is. Depending on what you're using (Gutenberg blocks, or some page builder), adding the CSS or JS can be done in a few different ways.

    If you need help with adding custom CSS to the page, please take a look at this article.

    As for the Divi, there shouldn't be any issues displaying the on the front end, but we usually recommend using the shortcodes in order to display the booking form on the front end.

    Here you find the complete list of shortcodes that can be used in Amelia - Amelia Shortcodes

    I hope i cleared a bit, please let me know if you have other questions.

    Hello Claudia,

    You are welcome.

    Please, see the answers below :

    When the booking form is not displayed in the front end, issues like this usually occur when there is a conflict either with the theme currently active on your website, or another plugin you have installed.

    Can you please change the theme and see if the issue is resolved? If not, then please deactivate all other plugins except for our plugin, refresh the page where the issue is, and see if it is resolved. If it is, then start activating other plugins one by one, and after each activation refresh the page to see if the issue reoccurred.

    If you want to limit an offer to a specific day and time, you can either use the Special Days option or Days Off. I will leave a link to our documentation regarding both topics so you can find more information - Amelia Configuring schedule

    All the labels can be adjusted in the corresponding booking form, by going to the Customize section and choosing the Booking Form you need. There you will find a lot of features and stuff that can be edited, like labels, fonts, features etc.

    To hide the employee or location field in the booking form, you can go to the booking form and find the Service selection tab where you will see the option to display the fields

    I hope i cleared a bit, please, let me know if you have any other questions.
