We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hello, I am the owner of a photography studio and clients can choose to book for a different number of hours, as many as they need. Can I somehow create a calendar where different hours can be selected? For example, on Monday it is open from 9:00 to 17:00, and it will be convenient for someone who wants to come from 13:00 to 16:00.
And if so, do I still have the option of differentiating which rental I want? A different price is for renting without equipment and another with equipment.
The only condition of the booking calendar / process would be that they must book a block of consecutive times. He cannot book a time from 9:00 to 11:00 and then again from 13:00 to 16:00 in one order.
Thanks for answer.
Hello Lubomir,
Thanks for reaching out to us.
Please, let me give more information regarding the Amelia functionality when it comes to services and employees.
Service availability depends on the employee's work hours and service duration. For example, if the service duration is 1 hour, and you set the work hours to 09:00 to 17:00, then the time slots will be displayed like this 09:00 - 10:00, 10:00 - 11:00, etc.
So, the customer will be able to choose only one-time slot (currently, there is no option to select multiple slots in one order. We are working on implementing this in a future version, but there is no ETA, at this moment), the duration depends on the service duration. If the duration is 1 hour, then the customer can't select the period 13:00 - 16:00 since it's 3 hours.
Certainly, the best option is to make two or more services with different prices in order to differentiate them.
One more option that you can use is called "Extras". Extras allow you the possibility to add additional services or products customers can buy when they are scheduling an appointment. This could be useful for scenarios where you want to charge extra for additional service. For example, if someone rents a studio without equipment, and then clicks on extra to choose the equipment and the extra charge will be added.
I hope i cleared a bit, but please let me know if you have any other questions.
Kind Regards,
Stefan Petrov
