Hey there, Awesome Customers!

Just a heads up: We'll be taking a breather to celebrate International Workers' Day (May 1st and 2nd - Wednesday and Thursday) and Orthodox Easter from Good Friday (May 3rd) through Easter Monday (May 6th). So, from May 1st to May 6th, our team will be off enjoying some well-deserved downtime.

During this time, our customer support will be running on a smaller crew, but don't worry! We'll still be around to help with any urgent matters, though it might take us a bit longer than usual to get back to you.

We'll be back in action at full throttle on May 7th (Tuesday), ready to tackle your questions and requests with gusto!

In the meantime, you can explore our documentation for Amelia and wpDataTables. You'll find loads of helpful resources, including articles and handy video tutorials on YouTube (Amelia's YouTube Channel and wpDataTables' YouTube Channel). These gems might just have the answers you're looking for while we're kicking back.

Thanks a bunch for your understanding and support!

Catch you on the flip side!

Warm regards,

TMS

    Good morning,

I created 2 shifts (copied from another shift) and a new employee star that I linked these shifts to. The show on website checkbox is on.

Now this employee only works on 2 days in the month of October (namely October 15 and 31). I have set these as special days.

Now when I go to the frontend and I click on the appointments page, I see all 8 shifts that were already on there, but not the 2 new ones.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Hello Roy,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

    Please check these points:

    1. Are these services visible on the site?

    9142153063.png

    2. If they are, is the employee assigned to these services?

    3. If he is, check his working hours. Working hours where services are defined in the intervals will only show the services defined in there. Make sure these two services are also included:

In the example above, the employee is assigned to 3 services, but 2 newly added services are not automatically assigned to the employee's working hours, even though they may be assigned to him/her in the Assigned Services tab. If you want the employee to work on all services that you have, you should clear this selection, and every new service will be added automatically.

    4. Did you assign the employee to another location? If you did, please go to Amelia/Locations, and make sure that the location is visible.

    5. Check the shortcode on the front-end - if you (for example) used [ameliabooking category=1], and you added the service to Category with ID: 2, the new service from category 2 will not appear in the front-end.

    Kind Regards,

    good evening,

I think I now know why it doesn't show it, you have helped me considerably on the right track, only now I run into the following.

The site in question is a baby spa (where babies are bathed), here was 1 employee. That worked perfectly.

I had set this up through the Amelia booking view. (shortcode ameliabooking emplyee=1).

Now there will be 2 new services given by someone else.

We want to show on the front end only the services and not the employees (otherwise customer has to choose employee and that is very unclear).

So how do I show on the front end only all the services without showing the employees?

Attached are all the services I have now.

Do I need to use a different shortcode for this (but I want to keep the same front end as I have now, but so only add those 2 extra services).

    Kind regards

    Hello Roy,

For this purpose, you can use the following shortcode:

    [ameliastepbooking]

And also, you can hide the Employee field on the Amelia/Customize page.
