Thank you for being so understanding, and we hope you enjoy the long weekend!
Hello!, first of all, congratulations for your amazing plugin!.
We are a simulation center with 2 flight simulators (Boeing 737 and Airbus A320) plus 2 classrooms, in total 4 different physical spaces.
Also, we have an instructors team (employees) who attend sessions for simulators and lessons in classrooms.
We have a little issue with booking spaces (simulators and classrooms).
We have in booking form our simulators as “category” (1), and type of session, professional or enthusiastic for the same space/simulator as “service” (2)
Then, when customer booking a simulator, can select a preferred instructor/employee (3)
In this case, customer select day 23 starts at 9:00, and instructor selected is “2-JOP - Instructor”
Then in the booking management, we can see correctly the day/time (4), service and instructor (5), and correctly approved (6)
Now, if another booking is requested with same simulator (7), but another employee/instructor selected (8)…
… same day (9) and time (10) can be selected for the same simulator,
which is obviously incompatible with the previous booking.. Same date/time (11), same simulator with different instructor (12), both approved (13).
Any suggestions about how we can block the calendar by “category” (simulator or classroom) instead of by employee/instructor availability? that is, block the calendar by physical space
Thanks a lot in advance for your help!
Regards
Hangar10 Team
Hello Jonas,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
For this purpose, I would suggest that you take a look at the resource feature in Amelia. With that, you can set it up exactly as you described.
Please let me know if that works for you.
Looking forward to your reply.
Kind Regards,
Uros Jovanovic
