We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
I'd like to share direct links to Events (e.g. on Facebook, email, etc.)
How can I generate a link to an event?
If there's no way to do this, is it possible to make a "generic" page that take the event ID as a URL parameter, and use the URL parameter in the `[ameilaeventslistbooking event=<param from URL>]` short code?
Thanks in advance!
Julian
Hello Julian,
thanks for reaching out to us.
So, you can make a simple link to your event by copying it from the address bar. For example, https://wpamelia.com/documentation/ is a link that you can use to put it on Facebook, email and etc.
If this is not what you are looking for, can you please elaborate a bit more on this question?
Regarding the event ID, unfortunately, currently, there is no option for URL parameter. Feel free to suggest this on our suggestion page.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Kind Regards,
Stefan Petrov

I also need a way to share specific event links. We have re-occurring events (classes), and sometimes want to promote a specific date. But the problem with the suggestion from Stefan, is that the URL in the address bar is only for the Calendar listing, or upcoming events listing. Clicking on a specific event does not give you a different URL (as it is loaded in AJAX on the same page). Wish there was a Share button or an event link listed on specific events, event dates and event series.
Hello Dan,
Sorry for the late reply. Unfortunately, there is currently no such option with Amelia's built-in features.
Please feel free to search through our feature suggestion page, to see if someone may have already suggested this feature. If you can't see it, feel free to add your suggestion there, and as more people vote, the feature will move higher on the priority list.
You can certainly follow our changeLog page if you'd like, where we state any changes/new features/bug fixes during updates and our newsletter, so you're informed about new features, bug fixes, freebies, etc.
Kind Regards,
Stefan Petrov
