I am testing Amelia, to see if I can fit it into our events and bookings, and am trying to recreate one of our events in Amelia. In short, the event is a board game evening where you can order a seat (or seats) atĀ one of the games on offer that evening (5 different games on each event). Each game can only accept 4 players. So total max for the event is 20 people, but 4 per game.
Finally, we have 2 such events each month (not recurring though, because different games every time).
Afterthought: I think about Board Game Evenings as an event, but am now wondering if this sounds like a booking.
The controlling element for me is that this needs to be listed on a calendar with events. I don't care how it is created in the backend if it can be shown as a singular event on a calendar.
I would like to sincerely apologize for the delayed response as we have been experiencing an unusually high number of tickets. I am sorry that it has taken longer than usual to respond to your concern and your patience is highly appreciated.
You are on the right path. This is doable with the custom pricing (tickets) function. For example, you can set the five categories in a custom pricing option which will essentially be board games. Then you can assign the number of spots per category which will be the number of people per game and in total that would be 20 people.
In the description, you can see all the information regarding the event.
I hope i cleared a bit, but please let me know if you have any other questions.

How would this be optimally set up in Amelia?

As I am wondering around Amelia settings, documentation and suchlike, I stumbled onto Edit Event > PricingĀ > Custom pricing.
I think I have hit the jackpot. (Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.=
