    Is it possible to pre-filter a table through URL (pass parameters) when the table is on the same page but contained within a hidden <div>?

    For example, displayed on the URL I provided, I am currently filtering product list prices via a URL. This is the "List Price Button." In this example, the table resides on a separate page. 

    An example link is shown below. This method works great.

https://clonetestm.kinsta.cloud/list-price-pop/?wdt_column_filter[0]=YS61-CSSS

    However, if the table resides on the same page, the response time would be much faster. Unfortunately, I am not sure if it is possible to do this using a <div>. Every attempt I have tried fails. For example, the following code would not work.

<div id="pricetable" style="display: none;">[wpdatatable id=17]</div>
<!-- link to hidden div attempting to pass parameters -->

    In short, is it possible to pass parameters to a table when the link points to a hidden <div>?

    Firstly, I would like to sincerely apologize for the delayed response as we have been experiencing an unusually high number of tickets. I am sorry that it has taken longer than usual to respond to your concern and your patience is highly appreciated.

    I am truly sorry to disappoint you on this, but at the moment it is not possible to trigger a pre-filtering of a table through URL on a hidden Table on the page.

    If you hide the table via CSS or any other measure,

    this function will not be applied, the table needs to be visible for it.

    But this is a very interesting use-case, so you can suggest a development option for the future.

    Please feel free to search on our suggestions page, 

     to see if someone may be already suggested this feature. If you can't see it, feel free to add your suggestion there,  and as more people vote, the feature will move higher on the priority list.

    You can certainly follow our changeLog page if you'd like ( it is also available in the plugin dashboard), where we state any changes/new features/bug fixes during updates;

    you can check out our available hooks for Developers on this documentation and see if you can find any hook that might help.

    Please be advised that custom solutions with hooks are not included in our support.

    You can also research resources such as Stack Overflow to see if any other user perhaps found a workaround.

    ( We do like to give examples for certain solutions, but for this use-case, we, unfortunately, don't have anything yet)
