So, there are a couple of options for this, see if you can find this useful. In the Event settings, under the stuff, you can select the employee who will receive notification when someone book a place within an event.

In the notification settings, you have the option to select additional addresses, but all notifications will be sent to these addresses, not just the successful ones.
