I am trying to add a custom field to ameila .When i click on add custom field, it shows the different fields, but when i add it, it say that custom field is successfully added, but it doesnt show the field added after that. It is no where to be found when adding a new service.
Issues like this usually occur when there is a conflict either with the theme currently active on your website, or another plugin you have installed.
Can you please change the theme and see if the issue is resolved? If not, then please deactivate all other plugins except for our plugin, refresh the page where the issue is, and see if it is resolved (it should be). If it is, then start activating other plugins one by one, and after each activation refresh the page to see if the issue reoccurred. Once it does reoccur, you will have found the plugin causing the issue.
Thank you for responding. I did what you mentioned, and it worked. im now able to see the custom fields in the "add custom field " section. But i have another issue. I'm not seeing it on the service form, or the booking form on the front end. Why is that?
User or appointment details can be displayed in Google Calendar. You just need to put placeholders in Event Description filed that you can find in settings/integrations/Google Calendar
There you can choose which detail will appear in your Google Calendar.
Hope this helps.

I used a text area custom field, everything else shows in the google calendar ,apart from the custom field. So which place holder do i use to show the custom field? i have tried many different place holders , but can't find the one that shows the custom field.

Hello Cassandra,
You just need to put placeholders in Event Description filed that you can find in settings/integrations/Google Calendar. In group appointments detail
You can find placeholders for custom fields
Just copy them from there to here
And that should be it.
This should help.
