- in Customize Event List, I’ve disabled “Event Slots Capacity” but it’s still showing it on the Event List. How can I change that? 

Make sure that you using the correct shortcode for the correct Event list. There are two forms available for the Event List. Inside the Booking Form 1.0 and completely redesigned Event List Booking Form 2.0. If you edit the settings of one form, make sure you display the correct one.

 also, the custom color in the customization seems not to work.. any idea on where to look / how to fix?

Color can be edited in the customize section of the booking form. There is no other way to edit the colors, except if you want to go the hardest way (with the CSS code)

- is there a way to only show a limited number of events or only show events for the next two months on the events calendar?

Unfortunately, there is currently no such option with Amelia's built-in features. The workaround is to set the default items per page in General Settings or you can display certain events with the shortcodes.

- how can I enable packages for events? All the documentation seems to only show how to do it for services. I’d like to be able to show customers the package option when they’re booking the event (similar to the workflow for services)

At the moment, Events cannot be used with Packages, only Appointments (Services). Please, find more information regarding the packages on this link - Amelia Packages
