We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!

We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.

You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.

While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.

We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.

Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!

Long story short. I want to create museum tours booking. Tour starts everyday in 1hour period from 12:00 to 19:00. There are 3 types of tickets: normal, kids, students. I thought I could create service for this, but apparently I see no option to make not only different prices for user to pick from but also option to select quantity for places user want to book. I tried creating recurring event approach, but there I see no option to create time period for day for user to pick from. Creating duplicates for same events is nightmare both for client to choose from and for management.

Is there some option I miss in Amelia, or unfortunately I've chosen wrong tool for my case?

    Hello Miroslaw,

thanks for reaching out to us and sorry for the late answer.

The way to differentiate the prices, if not using the custom pricing option, is to make three separate services. If you are using the custom pricing option, that is also hourly based, which means that you can differentiate if 1h of service is going to cost 10USD, 2 h is going to cost 20 USD and etc.

If you make three separate services, you can set the price for each service and there is also an option to select minimum and maximum capacity for each service. Setting the minimum number to 2 will allow you to enable to option "Bringing anyone with you" which essentially is asking how many will book that timeslot.

Maybe, you can find Packages feature useful. Packages in the Amelia Booking plugin are made to give you the option to create a package of multiple appointments from the same or different services and give a discount to the total price to attract your customers more. You can find more information on this link - Amelia Packages

I see that you already tried the event approach and i would also recommend this as the best option, but the downside is that there is no option to select the period of the day for the user to pick from. If you set the event it will be only for that period.

i hope i cleared a bit, but please let me know if you have any other questions.

    Kind Regards,
