well, you can try this workaround, i've just tested it, it will work. But be advised,  that this currently only works on old booking forms. The 2.0 Step-by-step booking form can't use the same JS code.

I will check with the developers if there is a workaround for 2.0 Step By Step.

Yes, the custom validation has been added, but it also requires the custom code, as for the old version of the booking form.
