I trust this message finds you well. I recently updated our Amelia plugin to the latest version and encountered an unexpected issue that requires your assistance.
Here's a breakdown of the situation:
One of our clients attended a class without having scheduled it within the Amelia system. This client has a package of 8 classes, with one pending reservation left. As there was physically an available spot in the class , she attended a regular class. Subsequently, the girl that manage our website (logged as an administrator with full privileges), attempted in the backend to register the pending class from the package on August 10th at 8:00 AM. The available employee for this reservation was "Reformer 11". However, upon attempting to save the reservation, an error message indicated that the time slot was unavailable. It seems that the system is currently restricting the ability to make reservations in the past, even when the reservation is within the timeframe of the class.
Important: When I tried to make the appointment as a single service i had no problem at all but for now it is part of a package.
This situation has led to a challenge. The client has already attended the class, but we are unable to register it due to this system restriction. As a result, she still has one class pending reservation within her purchased package.
In my understanding, the system should ideally permit such reservations to be made from the backend. This feature is essential for our operational flow and the seamless experience of our clients.
Please see attached pictures and watch this little video:
If you want to try by yourself the customers name is Gabriela Michel Cortes and I will give you credentials to access in the next private ticket.
To prevent the client from using that appointment from her package, which is marked as pending (but has already been used by the client), and since it is the 8th out of 8 reservations, I have canceled her package as a preventive measure. Therefore, if you wish to perform any tests, kindly reactivate the package, please.
I kindly request your prompt attention to this matter. Could you please investigate the issue and provide guidance or a solution to rectify it? We greatly value the functionality of the Amelia plugin and are eager to ensure a smooth experience for our clients.
Thank you for your assistance and support. I look forward to your response and a resolution to this matter.
thanks for reaching out to us. I will escalate this case to LVL 2 support, so they can take a better look at what going on. I will let you know as soon as I get feedback.
I'm reaching out again regarding the support ticket I raised for the Amelia plugin. My client, for whom I created a website using the Amelia plugin, has daily clients. However, after updating to the latest version, they are encountering the issue I previously mentioned: the system is not allowing them to register classes for the packages their physical clients attend. This is causing the classes to still appear as pending reservations.
Could you please check if there's a solution available for this issue? If not, I would appreciate it if you could provide me with the previous version of the plugin. I hope this can be installed as a temporary solution while the issue is being resolved.
Experiencing a similar issue in booking an appointment against a client's package. Also indicating time slot unavailable. But allows me to book for the same time slot as a single/standard appointment for the same client.
This only started happening after I updated to the latest version of the plugin (6.5)
we have been notified that there are issues with the packages on Amelia 6.5 Version. We are working on fixing this and then providing another update. For now, please use Amelia 6.4. I will send a 6.4 version via WeTransfer.
