We had some issues in the past with Amelia and we finally solved it with Vendidero, the Dev of Germanized for Woocommerce.

Can you please add a check in the file ameliabooking/src/Infrastructure/WP/Integrations/WooCommerce/WooCommerceService.php:

$wooCommerceCart->calculate_totals();

to

if ( ! doing_action( 'woocommerce_before_calculate_totals' ) ) {    $wooCommerceCart->calculate_totals(); }

so there is no unlimited recalculation of the totals? It can be simulated with this code in functions.php from the template:

add_action( 'woocommerce_before_calculate_totals', function() {    $checkout = WC()->checkout();    $checkout->get_value( 'test_yo' ); } );
