Hello
Where/what is the client Login URL?
This is very frustrating for me as I was expecting this page to exist and be easily accessed... And it is not...
The documentation is NOT very clear and I have running in circles for the past few days...
I dont know how to set or what client login URL should be...
I created a page where I put the shortcode [ameliacustomerpanel appointments=1] but I cannot login there...
Instead of Login details, it asks for my email and will be sent a link via email with the login page...
So... circles
Please help with this ASAP!
Thank you
Hello Eugen,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
In role settings you need to enter that URL of the page where you have placed the customer panel form.
As for login if you test as an admin you need to test from the incognito window so that you do not create conflict of roles because in this case you will become admin and a customer.
As for panel you need to add customer panel placeholder in your notifications like this
and you need to enable password required option in role settings
And once your customers book for the first time and when they click on that link they will get the option to create password for customer panel. After that their username will be the mail that they have used during the purchase and they can use the password that they have set for their profile.
This should help.
If you have any more questions please open a new separate ticket for each question and we will gladly help you there.
We wish you all the best.
Have a nice day.
Kind Regards,

For whatever reason, now the form shows however, I have another issue.
If a client forgets their password and the click on I forgot password, they receive a link in the email but... that does not allow them to change the password. Instead, it takes them to their wordpress dashboard in my site.
It is a bit complicated that we cannot pass the data from the wordpress account directly to Amelia, so that they can use the same login credentials....
So, 2 questions:
1) Is it possible for the client to use the same credentials from Wordpress account to login to their Amelia Customer Panel?
2) How can the client reset their Amelia password?
Thank you
Hello Eugen,
It is possible for customer to have the same credentials for Amelia panel and WordPress. We have option called Automatically create Amelia Customer user – If this option is enabled every time a new customer makes an appointment they will automatically get a WordPress user with the Amelia Customer user role and email with login details from WP, and that WP user would be connected to the customer created in Amelia. If someone is already a WordPress user, and they book an appointment for the first time in Amelia while logged in to WP, the customer created in Amelia will be connected to that WP user and they will get the Amelia Customer role in WP. This way they will have the same login info for the Amelia customer panel and WordPress.
As for changing the password you need to enable the password option in role settings and you need to set customer panel URL in customer panel access also
And once a customer click on forgot password the will get the link in notifications and as soon as they click on it they will be able to set the password like this
This should help.
