I am building a booking system for a client and they want a package option alongside a range of services. This is all fine but for some of the services in the package they do not want to offer them as a standalone service so need them hidden from the user and only available as part of the package.
I have set this up fine within service and a package but when I hide one of the services within the package it also hides the whole package at the front end (if the package has a hidden service within it).
Is there a way to show packages which contain hidden services.
For this purpose, I would suggest that you create those "hidden" services as part of a different category that will not be displayed on the front-end booking page.
You can display the package booking form on the front-end with the following shortcode:
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.
Thank you for looking into this. It is showing the packages now but I see you have turned on some of the services (ones which I did not want shown).
Sorry for any misunderstanding but my initial question was:
___

___
i.e. a service that is only available as part of a package and not shown as a separate service which can purchased on the front end of the site?
I would like the services to be included and within the package but not available to book individually or shown as a separate service but only as part of a package - hence I hid the services from front end as I did not want them shown?
What I was referring to in this response was that you would have two categories. One category will be displayed on the front-end with the following shortcode:
[ameliastepbooking category=1] If you want to show only the services from a category with ID 1.
The reason for this is that you would set the services that you do not want displayed on the front-end on the other category (the one that will not be displayed) and that way those services will be "hidden".
After that, you can display the packages with the following shortcode:
[ameliastepbooking show=packages]
And all of the packages will be displayed there.
Hope this helps you.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
At the moment, we do not have the option to select multiple categories with the shortcode, but this will be added soon, thus you will be able to do so.
Right now, if possible, I would suggest that you have two categories, one that you will display on the front-end and the other one with the two services that you do not want visible on the front-end, but only as part of the package.
Hope this helps you.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Hello Jason,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
For this purpose, I would suggest that you create those "hidden" services as part of a different category that will not be displayed on the front-end booking page.
You can display the package booking form on the front-end with the following shortcode:
[ameliastepbooking show=packages]
Please let me know if that worked for you.
Kind Regards,
Uros Jovanovic

Hi Uros,
OK I think that may work but only if you can display more than one category via the shortcode?
i.e.
[ameliastepbooking category=1, 2, 3]
as an example or are you limited to just the one?
Also before when I added a service (one that was selected to be hidden) to a package if stopped showing the package.
Hello Jason,
