i saw a webpage and i wanted my booking exactly like that website https://fixbox.co.uk/products/emergency-electrician. if you click book now or add to cart straight away a calendar pops up and you can go through booking setup and then payment. watching integration videos as weren't enough material what actually integration with WooCommerce is? only just payment method. i thought lets give Amelia a go as i had tried other appointments plugin they worked same as above mentioned URL but were buggy.my quest is can my customer go through WooCommerce product selects it or books it and then it links to one of Amelia service or package and rest you know the process of booking till payment. i really wanted my customer to go through WooCommerce store and then rest booking process on Amelia. That's what integration meant to be...not just for payments....please help me asap. as my customer can not book anything for now.
Unfortunately, no, booking must be made in Amelia and you can connect your product from WooCommerce to service in Amelia but customer must book it on our booking form. WooCOmmerce integrations in Amelia is designed as a payment method that you can use.
We will explain how the logic between Amelia bookings and WooCommerce Products works:
-
Once you enable WooCommerce as a payment method, in Amelia settings/Payment settings,
a new Woo Product is automatically created , named "Appointment".
You will be able to see it in back-end of WordPress in WooCommerce/Products:
By default, all services/events are connected to this WooCommerce product,
you are able to edit it/rename it, etc.
You are also able to add multiple products and choose which product is connected to which Service/Event.
In Amelia, go to the Services page, edit one of the services and you will see Settings/Payments tab.
Here you will see the option “Select WooCommerce product” where you can choose a product that will be connected to this service.
This way, you will be able to set different taxes and other WooCommerce options for each product and each service/event in Amelia.
After setting the product, you can set the Tax and/or invoice option, or if you don’t need either of these options, you can start using the WooCommerce payment methods
1. We have recently updated our Documentation page that explains how you can connect the statuses between Amelia and WooCommerce;
2. You can also add taxes, and invoices if you wish, with WooCommerce as well;
3. In the “Redirect page” option you can choose to which page customers will be redirected to after they finish their booking successfully. If you select the “WooCommerce Thank you page”, your users will stay on the last page of WooCommerce, and if you chose the “Amelia Add to Calendar page”, your customers will be redirected to the Congratulations page in Amelia, with the option to add their appointment or event to their calendar. -
Thanks for the reply , I have just created Amelia as shop front and compromised this option . Last thing I am trying to figure out any automatic redirect or button when customer deletes everything from cart then where should it redirect. only option come under empty cart is return to shop which is a WooCommerce shop and it doesn't exist anymore. so is there any setting where i can redirect customers automatically to previous page after deletion. I can permanent redirect shop page ,or else remove shop .but any option in Amelia . there are option after complete purchase redirect but I haven't tried if it works with amyelia payment link or WooCommerce
Unfortunately, currently, this feature is not built-in in Amelia. If a customer deletes everything there is no option to be redirected back. Only once they complete the booking you can choose where they will be redirected.
If you have any more questions please open a new separate ticket for each question and we will gladly help you there.
