Also, you can try purging the cache in your browser and on your site. After an update, there's usually the need to purge the cache in order to see everything in the back-end.

Can you create an admin user, use my email address and define a password? After you save the user, you can send me the password and the login URL in a PRIVATE response, and there'll be no need for me to go through my inbox.
