When my clients are asked if they would like to add their appointment to their google calendar it adds it an hour late. I am happy to turn this feature off rather than them arrive an hour late.

    Hello Martin,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

This is not up to us, when we make some changes or booking the changes are accepted almost immediately in any environment with each account. It is best to contact their support team so that they can check if there are some delay issues on their end.

We wish you all the best.

    Have a nice day.

    Kind Regards,

    Hi Martin,

you can just disable this, in Amelia general settings/Show Add To Calendar option to customers.

Then the Form will look like this on the "Congratulations" final screen :

Let us know if that helps.

    Hi Martin,

my sincere apologies, i actually re-read this entire ticket, and i think we can help you use our Google Calendar integration without having that "one hour late" issue,

so i am confident that you don't have to remove it.

    -

If i understood from your first message, you described that when a Customer hits "Add this to my Calendar",

then on their Google Calendar it gets created as "one hour later" in the time, right?

This is most probably a simple issue of different Time Zones that you set on your WordPress,

and if you did not enable the option we have to 'convert' the time zone which is presented in the Booking Form time slot Calendar,

to adapt to show your Client's Time Zone.

If you wish to try this, i will elaborate in more details how this works :

    -

First, check If you enabled this setting : "Show booking slots in client time zone"

in the Amelia general settings :

    3497229363.png

If you enable this option, your clients will see time slots in their own time zone,

and once they schedule an appointment you will see it in the back-end in the time zone that you have set in the WordPress General Settings under the Timezone option.

So, for example, if your clients are in a time zone that is 1 hour less than yours,

they will schedule an appointment for 8 pm, and you will see this appointment at 9 pm in the appointments list.

    -

Also, for example, in the main WP time zone, on the settings , if you have set a fixed UTC time zone.

We strongly recommend switching to a City that is the closest to the same time zone, to avoid any issues between back-end and front-end times.

Please check out more details explained about using time zones in Amelia on this page. Time Zones with Amelia

     The main summary is :

When you select the city you're in, in WordPress' General Settings, the system automatically calculates the Daylight Savings Time, and shifts the clock accordingly, so if you have any issues with what you see on the front-end vs what you see in the back-end, always check the Time Zone in WordPress.

    -

And with this new feature to set employees time zones; we also recommend picking a city, rather than a fixed UTC time zone, to avoid any issues.

Important to note : for employees as well, it will only show their time zone when they log into the employee panel;  otherwise on the back-end, it will always show your WordPress time zone.

    -

I hope that was clear, but let me know if you have any questions. Thanks.

    -

And just an additional Note, sometimes it can happen that the client does not set up the same Time Zone on their Google Calendar,

so your client should make sure do they have the same Time Zone set in their Calendar settings,

as they are on their current device which they use to visit your Page.

So after you check all of this, you can also try a test on the Front-End,

    for example if you visit the Booking Page and change the Time Zone on your device;

then refresh the page, and if you enable the option to Show Time Zone converted to Client's Zone,

    then on your browser you should see a different time ( like for example, if you change to a completely different zone with a big time difference);

    Kind Regards,
