We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!

We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.

You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.

While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.

We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.

Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!

    Good afternoon,

The thing is, I was using the Amelia plugin and noticed that there's a small issue with its functionality.

When a client cancels a class, a cancellation notification is sent to the email, which is fine. However, it still appears in the "appointments" section as canceled.

The problem is that the employee could mistakenly accept that class again even though it's marked as canceled. This creates a problem because I wouldn't be able to provide a refund to the client since I wouldn't know if it's genuinely canceled or not. Is there any option to handle this matter?

    Thank you very much

    Hello Cecilia,

thanks for reaching out to us.

Unfortunately, there is currently no such option with Amelia's built-in features. You can suggest that feature on the following link: https://features.wpamelia.com/

Amelia has an option that lets you set the permissions based on Roles. For example, you can give Employees permission to edit customer services or events, but there is no option that lets you separate two actions under one function. In other words, if you give an employee permission to accept, reschedule or cancel an appointment, that means that you can't separate which action is available or not. Employees will have access to all four actions (accept, reschedule, cancel, reject).

    I hope I cleared a bit.

If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

    Kind Regards,

    Stefan Petrov
