We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Is there a way to make the event booking date relative to the dat of the event?
I run a martial arts school, and I want parents to be able to register for classes using Amelia, but I don’t want them to see classes that are months and months away, only the classes that are open for the next 10 days or so.
I could go in and change all the event booking opening times manually, but I was hoping there was a way to set it as “10 days before the date of the event.”
Hello Wally,
Thanks for reaching out to us.
In the General Settings tab, there is an option that lets you see how far customers can book.
It's called "Period available for booking in advance". By default, it's set to 365 days, but you can set it according to liking.
See screenshot below
Please, let me know if this is what you are looking for or if you have any other questions.
Kind Regards,
Stefan Petrov

I saw that, but it only seems to work for appointments, not events - and I have all my classes set up as events. Is there a way to set a limit with events?
Or maybe I should be scheduling my classes as appointments rather than events?
Hello Wally,
Yes, you are correct. These settings are affecting appointments, not events. This can be done with appointments, as well, but for the "classes" scenario is better to use events.
There is an option in the Events tab which you can disable. It's called "Show Event on-site". When disabled, the event will not be displayed on the site even though it's months away.
Just be sure to disable or enable depending on what needs to be displayed on the site.
Please, let me know if it works or if you need help with anything else.
Kind Regards,
Stefan Petrov
