We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hi,
I'd like to add each new booking as a user on the website but NOT send them the username / set password email. I tried using a plugin (manage notification email) but that didn't seem to stop the ones from Amelia. Is there any code I can add to functions.php or anything else that I can do to do this?
Thanks :)
Hello Nic.
The Manage Notification Emails plugin should successfully stop WordPress emails about configuring the password.
As for Amelia - there are no such emails coming from our plugin. When a customer books an appointment, they receive either the "Appointment Approved" or "Appointment Pending" email notifications. Neither of those sends out the link to the Customer Panel or the link to configure a password by default.
Either way, all emails Amelia sends are enabled/disabled and configured through Amelia/Notifications, so please navigate there and either reconfigure or disable certain emails your customers receive.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković

Hi Aleksandar,
Thanks for the quick response. It was tied to the Automatically create Amelia Customer user setting in roles which I've switched off and it now does not send. thanks.
You're welcome, Nic.
With this turned off, your customers won't be created as WP Users when they book. If you're alright with this, you can leave this option off.
Kind Regards,
