We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!

We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.

You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.

While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.

We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.

Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!

    Hi,
I hope you are doing well. I have some online and offline services on my website, and google calendar linked to each professional. How can I prevent google from sending google meet links to my clients when booking an offline event? They are getting confused and I don't see an option on how to set up a physical or online event on the service settings.

    Thank you

    Best,
    Lucas

    Hey Lucas.

We're doing just fine, thank you! Hope all's well with you also!

Google Meet can't be disabled, unfortunately. If the Google Calendar integration is configured, and Google Meet is enabled, all employees assigned to a Google Calendar will also be receiving the Google Meet link.

If you enabled the "Send Event Invitation Email" option in Settings/Integrations/Google Calendar (this option can be enabled, only if Add Event’s Attendees option is turned on) they will receive the event invitation email and that can't be prevented.

If, on the other hand, you simply added the %google_meet_url% placeholder to your email notifications, a workaround would be to disable the default "Appointment Approved" email notification and create two new ones. One would be assigned to all "online" services, that would include the Google Meet placeholder, and the other one would be assigned to all "offline" services, that would not include the placeholder.

That's the only workaround at this time.

    Kind Regards,

    Hi Aleksandar,

I'm doing great thanks! I see, that's what I did, I have different notifications for online and offline services. But clients keep getting emails with the event invitation, including a Google Meet link. I also added disclaimers on the site just in case, so they don't get confused, not ideal but it would be great if in the future we could set up locations (online/offline) for events so that could affect event invites on a Google level instead.

    Thank you for your time!

    Best,
    Lucas

    Hi again Lucas.

These are triggered by the "Send Event Invitation Email" option in Settings/Integrations/Google Calendar section. If you disable them, the email invitations won't be sent to your customers.

Unfortunately, that's the only way to prevent this from happening, but in that case - it will stop the invitations for all appointments.
