An issue we have found is that because the steps of the 2.0 booking form can not be re-ordered, if a customer changes their mind about how much donation they want to give, via the Extras option, when you use 'back' to change their amount, then continue - in doing so, it removes all their personal information and must be re-entered, which is not helpful for the user or the administrator, if the customer has phoned in.
Therefore, it would be more logical if the fields within Steps that will not change, such as name, address, dob etc... are first, or before Extras or any other fields that may be subject to change.
Or have I missed something, and in fact the order of Steps can be altered?!
I can't replicate this issue with the new form (see the attached video).
Can you please record your screen, showing me how it behaves on your end?
I haven't recorded the steps where I changed the amount of Extras, but that works as well. All customer's data is saved in the last step regardless of how many times I go back, and change stuff.
Okay - I see. I have just repeated, and it did not change. But this time, I was logged out of WP. If am logged in, I think it auto places my personal details in because I have run tests before and the info has been saved.
I first noticed the issue when I took a call from a customer, I was logged into WP, I navigated to the front end - started to book his appt, placed his details in, then he changed his mind re the extras amount and so I went back to Extras section, changed it but when I went forward to 'your info' it had auto placed my details in - probably (1.) because I was logged in and (2.) because I have test booked using my personal details...?
Therefore, perhaps I need to make sure I am not logged in to WP if I book for a customer?
That, definitely, is what I would recommend anyway, Sarah.
If you're logged in, and book as a customer, your email address can get linked with a customer in Amelia and that could result in you not being able to see anything in the back-end.
We've covered a situation like this in our Live Q&A session a few months back. Check out this video. It should start at 44:40, but if it doesn't skip to that part. It will show you what can happen if an admin user is linked with a customer.

TY in advance.
