UPDATE to help others: I truly ended up doing nothing else, except acting like a newbie and turned the Amelia plugin off and back on (didn't delete my settings) and it... worked. Weird! Amelia, fix yourself!
Amelia stopped loading the regular (back-end) calendar, the employee details, the notification emails disappeared and the booking calendar from the website doesn't load either. To summarize the evidence: Amelia doesn't work at all. It doesn't even show me my services even though it says clearly at the top that I have 17. It didn't JUST disappear, it's just no usable at all, since I updated it.
We are glad to hear that everything is fine now. Sometimes if you just purge the cache pd simply deactivate any plugin and then you turned it on everything is back in order.
