How can you make a WordPress user having both the role of an administrator and an Amelia employee?
In some support documentation/videos, I saw the demo having a user listed both as an admin and an employee. When I switched a person into an employee on my site (to test out the employee features), he/she loses the admin rights to go back to the dashboard.
You should know you can not be Admin and manager to admin and employee, etc at the same time since this leads to conflict within the plugin. You need to have only one role per user only admin or only manager or only employee. Every role has different permission and if you combine them Amelia can not function properly.
You need to disconnect other roles from that user and that mail and to create a separate user with separate mail for each role and make sure to purge the cache afterward.
After that Amelia should work properly again. Please do that and let us know how it goes.
Hi Marko, thank you. Understood about the fact that you cannot be admin and employee at the same time.
I am not sure where I saw it and whether it was employee and admin (or some other role). If I come across it again, I will take a screenshot and come back to you.
You are most welcome and we will close this ticket now but If you have any more questions please open a new separate ticket for each question and we will gladly help you there.

Why is that?
Thank you so much!
Hello again Paul,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
No, this is not possible or recommended.
