This is strange since we do not have any cron issues with 6.4 version. Thank you for lettings us know and we have tested this and everything is working fine. So we think that this is tied to your server settings or permissions so we advise you to contact your hosting provider so that they can check this on their end since this is set up on your server.
Hopefully, they will find what is causing the issue with the latest version.

I had a notification email configured to send 24hrs before an appointment.
Everything waas working smoothly, until I updated amelia to 6.4 Then It stopped sending out notifications triggered by cron.
I had to revert to 6.3.1 from a backup, and eveythig is working again.
The cron was configured properly - because it's working on an earliet version. Also on 6.4 running the url manually did not get emails to work.
I'll stick to verion 6.3.1 right now, but I'm just letting you know.
