Sorry to disappoint you, but at the moment, we do not have a solution to achieve this.

• Invisible columns are still passed to the front end. This means that if there are many invisible columns, they can needlessly load the page. If there’s absolutely no need for the invisible columns’ data in the front-end, it’s better to delete them in the data source when possible.

You can see more details on what we have available when it comes to hiding or showing columns on front-end on this Documentation.

Our developers do plan to create "hidden columns" feature to improve this for such use-cases,

but i can't say an exact ETA on it.
