Amelia Does Not Appear to Understand How Yoga Studios Actually Work

I am concerned that the Amelia Software doesn't make sense when attempting to use in reality for running a yoga studio

    1. Except for Private yoga, most individuals would not choose when a yoga class is going to occur it would be they see Class times and they show up (the options between events and services are oddly setup to create reoccurring classes)
    2. Why on earth would you give people the option to cancel or reject a class after a client has booked it? If it's on the calendar I would hope any reputable business would keep the appointment
    3. Subscriptions/Membership do not appear to be an available option for unlimited classes (events) per month
    4. Coupons that are time specific don't exist (eg: One week of classes for free)
    5. Not compatible with square

    Hello Nicholas,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

When you have several questions or issues, please open a new ticket, and we will help you there. In that way, issues and questions which are related to different subjects will be in separate tickets so other customers or our support agents can find them easily.

Our policy is to have one issue or question per ticket because of the reasons that are described already.

    Thank you for understanding.

We have thousands and thousands of user who uses Amelia for Yoga studios.

    1. Except for Private yoga, most individuals would not choose when a yoga class is going to occur it would be they see Class times and they show up (the options between events and services are oddly setup to create reoccurring classes) - We do not understand what the issue is or what you are asking us?

If you do not want to offer recurring classes you can turn this option of in services-edit service. In anycase customers can only book the times that you have set as available for that service in the employee schedule.

    2. Why on earth would you give people the option to cancel or reject a class after a client has booked it? If it's on the calendar I would hope any reputable business would keep the appointment - Because the wast majority of our user wants to have this option and in any business there must be an option so that you can cancel or reschedule due to unforeseen events that might happen

    3. Subscriptions/Membership do not appear to be an available option for unlimited classes (events) per month - Amelia doesn't yet have a membership feature, but it will be developed as a part of the Developer license (maybe even as part of the Pro license) in the future. Please take a look at our Packages feature, and see if maybe the Packages would be useful for you. You can find more information on this link https://wpamelia.com/packages/

    4. Coupons that are time specific don't exist (eg: One week of classes for free) - You have option called Expiration date and Maximum Usage Per Customer in this way you can set how many times a customer can use this coupon and when it will expire

    5. Not compatible with square - Unfortunately, currently, this feature is not built-in in Amelia. But this should be implemented this year.

If you have any more questions please open a new separate ticket for each question and we will gladly help you there.

We wish you all the best.

    Have a nice day.

    Kind Regards,
