As I need a private user only webshop, I use the Ultimate Member plugin. Our workflow:
1. Store owner creates a Wordpress user.
2. Wordpress/Ultimate Member sends out a welcome e-mail with activation/set password link.
3. Customer logs in and goes to the Amelia shop page (with the show only packages shortcode) and chooses a package.
Problem is that when they want to buy a package, the form does not autofill (as it should) with the current logged in Wordpress user's first name, last name and email address. So the customer needs to fill this in again. If they make a mistake and fill in a different email address then the one that is used for their already excisting Wordpress account, Amelia will then create a new customer and Wordpress user.
Also the same problem can occur with future purchases.
To avoid these kind of mistakes I really need to have the logged in user details prefilled.
Since Amelia doesn't yet have a membership feature, and it will be developed as a part of the Developer license (maybe even as part of the Pro license) in the future. Any membership plugin (like MemberPress, or Ultimate Member, etc.) allows you to create pages that are inaccessible to some (for example non-logged-in users). You can also create custom logic, so a user can access this page once a month (for example), but we're not sure about that, since we don't work with Membership plugins.
For this reason, we cannot confirm how the membership plugins will work with Amelia, but we can confirm that if the Amelia customer user is logged into WordPress, they will have their data auto-populated in the booking form.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
